Glorious Day!

Last Sunday, Bryan and I played hooky from church and went to the beach in Lincoln City. Now, I'm not condoning church-skipping, but nevertheless, we did it and it was  perfectly glorious! The following are some pictures I took after we hit the outlet mall and had chowder at Mo's. I love days like this with my husband!

We marveled at God's handiwork. Millions of grains of sand. So many colors. Such creativity--what a masterpiece! Yet He still cares for us.

We really want to own a large dog...preferably a Lab or Chesapeak Retriever. Unfortunately, our apartment place only accepts dogs under 20 lbs. Therefore, we are forced to live vicariously through those who own large puppies and sigh from a distance.

Kites! We still have yet to try our wedding present from my parents, a large kite that we never took out of the package on our honeymoon. We were going to get it out last weekend, but determined there wasn't enough wind...alas, there was indeed. But I wasn't hiking back to the car to get it.

And so ends our day at the beach. Glorious it was, and oh, so wonderful to be outside enjoying God's masterpiece--TOGETHER.
